Well I sit down to write this blog tonight after a week of setbacks and not being able to train. I only ran five miles this week, before I got a really bad cold. It is really hard to run when you can't breathe. If I sound a little down tonight, it is because I am. I was hoping to get in at least twenty miles this week. I am not even sure what to say tonight. I feel so let down by this first week.
There were a couple bright spots in the week, I found out that some more people are going to compete in some of the 5k and 10k races that I am planning to do to test my legs before the mini triathlon in June. My best friend also told me he is going to train and do the mini triathlon with me in June. It is becoming quite a team that is training for this event. So I guess it was a good week after all. Hope to have more to talk about next week.
