Well I have added some dates to the lead up to the half triathlon in August. I am now doing the 5k in Seneca March 19, The Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston on April 2, the Hartwell Dam run 5k on May 7, a sprint triathlon in Statesville on May 14, and the sprint triathlon at Lake Lanier on June 4. I am so excited about everything that is going on.
Since starting training and my new job with Ultra Fit as a personal trainer I have lost over twenty pounds and couldn't be happier. I also bought a bicycle this weekend. I am so excited about this purchase and so glad that I am getting to get out and ride it. I have almost wiped out a few times but haven't wrecked yet. It is so hard to get used to my feet being attached to the bike. I have avoided being hit by a couple cars also. I keep messing up the gears though and will have to make a trip to the bike shop in the morning to get it fixed, I don't understand what I am doing to it but oh well.
I am so happy with everything that is going on right now. I hope to have more updates coming more often from now on. My schedule has begun to calm down just a little bit over the last week or so. I will try to post later this week with training totals.
